How your list stays private

It lives on this device only. There's no account or sign-in, and it isn't tied to any email address.
Holdfast can't see it. Everyone downloads the same app, the same list of every creator and the same photos, whatever they follow, and searching happens on this device. The browser locks the app so it can only ever contact Holdfast itself, and it only does that when you suggest a creator: it sends the links you typed, never your lists.
Links carry the list themselves. Share and move links keep the list after the # in the address. Browsers never send that part to a server, so Holdfast never receives it.

Worth knowing: anyone with one of your links can see what's in it, and links stay in your browser history. Clearing this site's data, or using a private window, erases your list here — keep a move link as a backup. Opening a post is ordinary browsing: that site sees the visit, as it would without Holdfast.
